Creating art is a way of expressing the inner experience. The creative process used in creating art is used in therapy to work through and resolve emotional problems and improve a person’s well being. Art is an effective tool in the therapeutic process.
Art classes are held one to two times per week. As kids delve into projects, they are expressing themselves through their painting, sculpture, collage and working through their emotions. To see these incredibly creative kids produce their masterpieces and even be proud of them is amazing!
